Championship side Aston Villa are close to completing the loan signing of Watfords Nigerian attacker Isaac Success according to Football website TeamTalk
Isaac Success has returned to Watford from a short loan at ,Malaga and despite impressing in pre-season games looks like he is not a part of coach plans and is set to be sent on loan again
The 22 year old was loaned to Malaga during the second half of last season and was part of the side that finished rock bottom of Spain’s top tier, with just 20 points from 38 games.
Success was bought by Watford back in the summer of 2016 from Granada for a fee believed to be in the region of £12.5million, picking up the Hornets’ number 10 shirt. But he has managed just 20 appearances for Watford since.
Success struggled while at Watford no thanks in part to injurys and issues off the pitch and could only manage nine league appearances during his loan spell with the Spanish outfit, failing to find the back of the net once and has now been told he is surplus to requirements at Watford.
The deal is being held up however as Watford want a loan-to-buy option but Villa unsure on making a permanent offer for Success
The one-time Nigeria international has a contract at Vicarage Road until the summer of 2021
