It was a victory for Nigerian football as incumbent president Amaju Melvin Pinnick was re-elected NFF President.
Pinnick who also doubles as a CAF and FIFA administrator was re-elected president of the Nigerian Football federation for a second four-year term in what was a first of its kind landslide victory
He scored a total of 34 votes out of 44 votes a clear margin ahead of his closest rival in another former President Aminu Maigari who had 8 votes,
Former Shooting stars administrator Taiwo Ogunjobi had 2 votes and placed 3rd
A 4th contestant Chinedu Okoye had no votes
It was a comprehensive win for the former delta state FA chairman inwhat was obviously a free & fair NFF Presidential election as ever seen albeit a one sided election as Amaju Pinnick absolutely annihilated the opposition.
With his Victory Amaju Pinnick also makes history becoming the first Nff President to win a re-election.
Lagos FA Chairman, Bar. Seyi Akinwunmi also returns as 1st Vice President of the NFF with 41 votes against Otunba Sunday Dele Ajayi’s 2 votes
