English premier league side Chelsea have congratulated new Nigerian international Ola Aina on making his competitive debut for Nigeria and helping them qualify for the World cup
The Current English champions took to social media to send a message to the Hull City loanee “Happy birthday Ola Aina and congratulations on making your full international debut for Nigeria!”
Birthday boy Ola Aina who turned 21 on Sunday had gotten a befitting birthday gift a day earlier when the Super Eagles of Nigeria qualified for their 6th world cup with a 1-0 win over Zambia in Uyo
The 21 year old was a 79th minute substitute for injured Elderson Echiejile and performed admirably well in the 11 minutes he was on the pitch
Nigeria eventually won the match a tense tough game 1 -0 courtesy of a goal from Ola Ainas close friend Arsenals Alex Iwobi who himself was a minute substitute and have with the victory qualified for the 2018 World cup in Russia
Ola Aina is officially now a Nigerian international and, having appeared in a competitive match, is tied down to the Super Eagles.
