Anglo Nigerian teenager Ike Ugbo scored his first ever Championship goal as Barnsley secured their second Sky Bet Championship win of the season as they comfortably beat Sunderland 3-0 at Oakwell.
Other goals were from Harvey Barnes and George Moncur as Barnsley took an unconvincing win over a lacklustre visiting side.
The opening goal came in the 31st minute, with Ruiter unable to get any distance on his parry from Barnes’ effort on the left side.
Chelsea loanee Ugbo was the first to react to the loose ball to bundle the ball into the Sunderland net.

The striker joined the Championship side for the 2017-18 season, having scored 23 goals in 35 matches for Chelsea’s under-23 and under-18 sides last term.
He also scored once in three appearances to help England’s under-20 side win the Toulon Tournament in June.
