Sogndal Football club and Manchester City have agreed to extend the loan agreement onNigerian midfielder Chidiebere Nwakali for the 2017 season.
The 20 year old Nigerian joined the club at a training camp in Gran Canaria this winter.
The skillful playmaker has already spent some time at the club and has gotten acquainted with the club and the game style and has become an integral part of the teams central midfield.
The former U17 star was exceptional in the last match against Aalesund where he scored the match winner.
“I’m very excited that Chidi will be out of season,” says sports director Håvard Flo.
– “Chidi is one player with high technical level and great running force.”
“He has a good fit and good looks for the game. He is one of the key players in our crew,” says Flo, who praises Manchester City for the collaboration.
“Myth of era for me to get except Chidi is that City want the player to have a very good development both as a person and in training.” He concluded
