Nigerian young sensation Ebere Eze has signed a new deal with Championship side Queen Park Rangers
The talented 20 year old signed a two-year contract extension at QPR, tying him to the Championship club until 2021.
Eze had a spell on loan at Wycombe last year, but has been assigned for a critical role this term by Steve McClaren.
Eze has also been handed the number 10 shirt by new Boss McClaren who hailed the fast-improving midfielder’s new deal.
‘He’s a huge talent and could be a very special player,’ McClaren told QPR’s official club website.
‘But ‘could be’ are two big words and we have to help him fulfil his potential.
‘So many promising young players get a good contract and down tools, stopping their development. We don’t want that to happen and I am sure with Ebere it won’t.’
The player had fans clamoring for him to sign a new deal and showed his worth in the preseason games for QPR where he scored a number of goals
Eze is expected to be invited for the Super eagles upcoming AFCON qualifiers after previously training with the team in London in 2017
