Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho has shaken off his injury scare and returned to training with his new English side Leicester city
Iheanacho trained today giving foxes boss Craig Shakespeare a major boost ahead of the start of the new season on Friday.
The Nigerian lasted only 17 minutes of his debut following his £25 million move from Manchester City after taking a knock on his ankle against Borussia Monchengladbach on Friday.
The 20-year-old striker limped off the pitch much to the concern of City fans
However Leicester boss Shakespeare said the medical staff were not too concerned and Iheanacho only suffered bruising to his ankle and was taken off as a precaution against the season opener
The former Manchester city striker is now expected to be fit to play some part in the seasons opener against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium
