The Super Falcons of Nigeria are set for their Battle with France as the team now have the full contingent of 18 expected players in camp
The eight –time African champions will take on the French ladies at the at the Stade MMArena in the city of Le Mans, France on Friday, 6th April 2018 by 9pm
US based Courtney Dike Desire Oparanozie and Francisca Ordega were the early birds and at the Mecure Le Mans Centre camp ahead of Friday’s friendly with France WNT
The six Sweden-based players – captain Rita Chikwelu, Oshinachi Ohale, Ngozi Okobi, Faith Ikidi, Ogonna Chukwudi and Josephine Chukwunonye were the next set of arrivals and were joined by the contingent from Nigeria
Brighton & Hove striker Ini-Abasi Umotong, Holland-based Sophia Omidiji and Cyprus-based Ngozi Ebere completed the team
The ladies will have two training sessions on Thursday before Friday’s friendly with France WNT in Le Mans.
The first training will come up by 10am at the Le Clos Fleuri ground and the second session will hold at MmArena by 6pm
France are currently ranked fifth in the world while the Super Falcons are ranked 38th.
The last meeting between the Super Falcons and France was a group stage fixture at the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Germany which Nigeria lost 1-0.
