Leicester City’s Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is confident the hard work done during pre-season is preparing the Foxes for a successful Premier League campaign.

Ndidi returned to the starting line-up for a 1-0 defeat by Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux on Saturday and the Nigerian international felt the benefit of another run-out for the Foxes.
“Were quite sad with the loss to wolves although it’s just pre-season we have to work on our mistakes and get better” Ndidi told LCFC TV
“Pre-season has been great. Lots of hard work and training. We will look at our mistakes and use them to prepare for the coming season”
The 20 year old Nigerian international called for focus from his team-mates ahead of the trip to face Burton Albion as preseason preparations continue
“We just need to keep working and focus,” he added.
“Everybody needs to be at his best. It’s been okay, the fitness level is coming up. We hope before the start of the season everything will be okay.” He concluded
Leicester City next face Burton Albion at Pirelli Stadium on Tueday (7:45pm KO)
