Hull Citys Nigerian full back Ola Aina is finally set to make his international debut for Nigeria after being cleared by the football governing body FIFA
The NFF confirmed via official channels that Nigeria have received clearance from FIFA for Chelsea defender Ola Aina to make his international debut in the World Cup qualifier against Cameroon on Monday.
The statement read: Ola Aina is available for selection against Cameroon tomorrow after being cleared by FIFA.
The 20 year old Aina who is on a season long loan to Hull City from English premier league champions Chelsea recently switched alleigence to the African nation despite turning out for England at various junior levels
Aina was born in London to Nigerian parents
Aina could only watch as Nigeria beat Cameroon 4-0 in their World cup qualifying match in Uyo but will be hoping to play a part in the game in Yaounde
Nigeria have nine points from three matches in Group B in Africa zone qualifying, while Cameroon remain on two points.
