Nigeria have released their home and away kits for the 2018 World Cup for the Super Eagles
Nike the official kits sponsor of Nigeria’s national teams presented the kits to the NFF at a ceremony in London on Wednesday.
The newly launched kits from Nike pay homage to their USA 1994 campaign and designs used in 1995 when the Eagles took on England in Wembly
The home shirt features a bright green-and-white abstract feather pattern while the away shirt is closer to more recent designs with an al- over dark green design
Nike who were the Kit manufacturers say they wanted to ‘tap into the attitude of the nation’ with the design and aimed to build the kit based on the identities of the players
To launch the shirts were Premier League trio Wilfied Ndidi, Alex Iwobi and Kelechi Iheanacho , ex-Chelsea midfielder Jon Obi Mikel, Nigerian Female Football star Sophia Omidiji modelled the Super Falcons’ kit and Afro Hip hop star Wizkid
Nigeria have been drawn into Group D alongside Argentina, Iceland and Croatia
