Enugu Rangers moved up to second place on the Nigeria league table after they recorded a 1-0 win over relegation-threatened MFM FC in Enugu in a rescheduled tie.

With the win The flying Antelopes now have 54 points from 32 matches, same as leaders Wikki Tourists, who enjoy a better goals difference and could climb to the summit of the standings should they beat third-placed Rivers United at home on Sunday
League leaders Wikki who are scheduled to host Giwa FC also on Sunday slipped up in a must-win match against Lobi stars but are still on top of the table on 54 points
Defending champions Enyimba also endured a goalless draw against Warri Wolves further throwing the title race wide open
Enyimba now move up to fifth on the table on 49 points with a game in hand while Warri Wolves are now 17th on the table with 39 points. MFM are 18th on the table on 38 points.
