Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo seems to have peaked form at the right time as the Super Eagles get set for the world cup in Russia
The former Watford of England striker followed up his heroics of last week when he scored 4 goals in a single game by scoring another brace as Changchun Yatai romped to a 2-1 win over Shanghai SIPG FC In the Chinese League on Sunday
Following Lasse Vibe’s strike hitting the bar, Odion Ighalo slotted home for Changchun.
The in-form Nigerian then came close again hitting the post before Wu Lei equalized for SIPG.
The 1st half ended a goal apiece but Ighalo was not done and early in the 2nd half completed his brace.
SIPG were given a chance to level scores again after when they were awarded a penalty but Brazillian Hulk’s penalty hit the post.
Changchun Yatais victory courtesy of Ighalos goals resulted in the 1st league loss for Chinese Super League leaders SIPG.
