Nigeria midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo has completed a six-month loan deal from Portuguese club CD Feirense to Spanish club Las Palmas with an option to sign him on a permanent deal at the end of the season,
The 22 year old who was recently linked with a move to Portuguese giants FC Porto and Genk of Belgium opted instead to join the LaLiga club.
“Etebo arrives on loan from Club Desportivo Feirense of the First Division of Portugal. UD Las Palmas reserves the option to purchase the player. He can act as an offensive or extreme midfielder. At 23, he has already been a regular international with Nigeria,” reads a statement on the Las Palmas website on Wednesday.
The Nigerian International has featured in 18 games for Feirense this season, scoring four goals.
Etebo was a member of the Nigeria U-23 team that won the African title in 2015 and also won bronze at 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
