Nigerias Super Eagles are set to take on the Mediterranean knights of Libya for the 2nd time in 3 days when both team clash in Tunisia at the Stade Taïeb Mhiri Stadium this evening
Both teams had met on Saturday in Uyo with the Super Eagles trouncing the Libyans 4-0 in their AFCON qualifier and are set to do battle again this time in Tunisia where Libya will be playing their home games
The Super Eagles arrived Tunisia on Monday and have been training at the Stade Taïeb Mhiri, Sfax in preparation for the game
Coach of the national team Gernot Rohr is not carried away by their Big win in Uyo and expects a much more tougher game from the Libyans
“Tomorrow’s game will be tougher than the last one.
It’s always difficult to play the same team twice in 3 days and win both games, but we’re just as motivated and hungry for victory as we were on Saturday.”
Rohr is expected to keep an unchained lineup from the Uyo game for the match
The Eagles currently occupy the second position in the Group E table with six points, one point behind South Africa.
The game is scheduled to kick off 7pm Nigerian time
